Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 2,000,000.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, 50,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

On March 3, 2009, the Defendant made a false statement to the victim E, who is the owner of a fishing vessel in the Cda in the Sinsan-si, Sinsan-si, that “The monthly salary of KRW 5 million is KRW 1,500,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,00 won.”

However, even if the victim receives 5 million won as a prepaid deposit, there was no intention or ability to work on board the victim's fishing vessel as a seafarer.

As such, the Defendant, by deceiving the victim, was immediately given KRW 5 million to his own account.
