A and C shall be punished by imprisonment for six months, and by imprisonment for one year, respectively.

Punishment of the crime

1. Defendant A and Defendant B’s joint criminal conduct are the operators of game rooms located in the second floor office of the building E in Yangnam-si, Yangsan-si, and Defendant B are the partners of the above game rooms.

No one shall distribute game products which have not been classified by the Game Management Committee for distribution or for unspecified multiple use, display or keep such products, and shall exchange, exchange, arrange for exchange or repurchase tangible or intangible results obtained through the use of the game products as a business.

Nevertheless, from around 18:00 on December 28, 2013 to January 18:50, 2014, the Defendants paid 18,000 won after deducting 10% of the commission from 18:00 to 18:50 on the said game site; Defendant A installed five game equipment of “matoma”, “water level” game equipment of “mail”, and “physical” game equipment in the said game site; and Defendant B performed public relations activities with customers.

As a result, the Defendants conspired to provide the unclassified game products for many unspecified use, and exchanged tangible and intangible results obtained through the use of game products.

2. Defendant C and Defendant B’s joint criminal conduct are the owner of a game room located in F in Yangnam-si and Defendant B are the partners of the game room.

No one shall distribute game products which have not been classified by the Game Management Committee for distribution or for unspecified multiple use, display or keep such products, and shall exchange, exchange, arrange for exchange or repurchase tangible or intangible results obtained through the use of the game products as a business.
