Defendant shall be punished by a fine of five million won.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, KRW 100,000.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendant is a business proprietor operating a sports-based game room, which is called “B.”

1. No game products related business entity that violates the Game Industry Promotion Act shall encourage speculation by allowing him/her to gamble or perform other speculative acts, or providing free gifts, etc. using game products;

Nevertheless, from early August 2019 to December 30, 2019, the Defendant established 9 pop-up (TYOP,CC-N-170315-08) classified by the Game Management Committee in Bupyeong-gu Incheon (TYP) and operated 9 pop-up (TYOP,CC-170315-08). In doing so, the Defendant violated the standards for granting free money exceeding 5,000 won in the consumer’s selling price in multiple game machines and storages, and 9 pop-up pop-up (TY PP,CC-N-170315-08) by installing it differently from the contents of the game machine and operating it in order for customers to obtain free money if they choose a key, thereby promoting speculation in violation of the provision of free money.

2. No game business entity related to the violation of the Game Industry Promotion Act (providing contents different from those of the rating classification) shall provide game products for the distribution or use, or display or keep, for such purposes, the contents of which are different from those of the game products rated by the Game Industry Management Committee;

Nevertheless, from the early August 2019 Police Officer to December 30, 2019, the Defendant operated a trop pop (TYOP,CC-N-170315-008) with a key different from the content of deliberation in the nine game products, and provided a game product different from the content of the classification to unspecified customers by separately laying the keys.
