1. Defendant A’s imprisonment for six months, Defendant B’s imprisonment for four months, Defendant C’s fine of four million won, and Defendant D’s fine.
Reasons
Punishment of the crime
1. No person who is not a national sports promotion corporation or an entrusted business operator of the Seoul Olympic Games shall engage in an act of offering property or property benefits to a person who has correctly predicted the result by issuing (including issuing through an information and communications network) sports promotion voting rights or things similar thereto, or gambling by using them;
Nevertheless, from January 1, 2014 to December 2, 2014, the Defendant sent approximately KRW 939,308,50 on a total of KRW 1,000 by accessing “E”, a website, and deposited cyber money in advance, and predicted the outcome of a sports competition, such as a stable at home and abroad, the deaf-gu, and the entrance, thereby gambling in a way that he receives dividends according to the dividend rate if the result meets.
2. From May 25, 2014 to June 15, 2015, Defendant B visited the so-called B-called B-based Internet gambling site and charged cyber money to the so-called B-called B-based online gambling, and a person, whose total number of the cards in two pages is 9, was 458,000,000 won over 159 times in a way that the said person habitually blings money by remitting KRW 458,00,000.
3. From April 28, 2015 to June 14, 2015, the Defendant: (a) connected the so-called Bamer Game by charging cyber money; and (b) a person who, having the total number of the cards in Chapter B, has a number equal to 9, remitted totaling KRW 123,340,000 to 40 times in a way that he/she had a bit of 40 times.
4. No person, other than an entrusted business entity, who is a national sports promotion corporation of the Seoul Olympic Games or a person who is not an entrusted business entity, shall engage in an act of offering property or property benefits to those who win the result of issuing (including issuing through an information and communications network) sports promotion voting rights or things similar thereto, or gambling by using them;
