A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than eight months.

However, the execution of the above sentence shall be suspended for a period of two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

The defendant was arrested at a point 284km on November 19, 2016 at around 19:45, by means of arrest warrant issued to the violation of the Act on Special Cases concerning the Settlement of Traffic Accidents in the Gwangju District Court's Bapo-ro. On the same day, around 20:47 around the same day, the defendant escaped from the seat patrol vehicle of the Daejeon Dong Police Station in order to move from the parking lot of the Daejeon Dong-dong Police Station located in Daejeon Special Metropolitan City, Daejeon Special Metropolitan City, to the detention room.

The reasons for sentencing under Article 62(1) of the Criminal Act for suspended sentence are as follows: (a) there are circumstances to consider the circumstances leading to the instant crime; (b) the accused’s reflection of gender; and (c) other factors of sentencing, including the Defendant’s age, sex, environment, etc.; and (d) the sentence is to be determined

It is so decided as per Disposition for the above reasons.
