A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than ten months.

The application for the instant compensation order shall be dismissed.

Punishment of the crime

Around 08:03 on September 12, 2018, the Defendant posted a notice to the victim B that “D” account would be exchanged on the Internet online game bulletin board of the victim’s online online game community,” and made a false statement to exchange the victim’s game account (L, level 76) and his game account (M, level 82) with the victim’s game account (M, level 82) by sending the victim’s message to the victim’s “K.”

However, in fact, the defendant received the above game account from the victim and thought to prepare money by selling it, and did not have the intent or ability to return the game account as promised to the victim.

The Defendant acquired approximately KRW 550,00 from the victim the “L” account (N) and did not create a “M account,” thereby acquiring approximately KRW 550,000 from the victim.

No one shall intrude into an information and communications network without access authority or beyond the permitted access authority without any justifiable ground.
