Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 7,000,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

No one shall be knowingly provided with any disclosed personal information for profit or for any unlawful purpose, and shall intrude into an information and communications network without access authority or beyond the permitted access authority.

On June 2014, the Defendant sold NAVK in NAVL and up to twice a month, while posting a sales letter on one’s own ID. From a person who is unable to know the name he/she had become aware of through Internet search, he/she purchased NAV ID and password at one’s price for KRW 2,000 per one and then used the ID and password to send a medium NAL sales slip.

On June 13, 2014, at the Defendant’s residence located in Gangseo-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government B 301, the Defendant paid 2,000 won for the payment of the NAV ID and the password, which he/she had hackinged from a person who was unable to know for the purpose of posting the NAV sales text, on the NAV bulletin board, and received through the Internet Mabro. On the same day, the Defendant entered the above NAD and password into the NAV website at the Defendant’s residence, and Roged from around that day to March 21, 2015, and was provided with 406 NAV in the same way as indicated in the NAV list, and entered it on the NAV website.

Accordingly, the Defendant knowingly received personal information for profit or for an illegal purpose, and infringed on the information and communication network without access authority.
