The plaintiff is the wife of the deceased B (hereinafter referred to as the "Death"), and the defendant company is the insurer who has concluded each of the insurance contracts of this case with the deceased or the plaintiff as follows:

On Apr. 3, 1995, the Deceased concluded an insurance contract with the Defendant Company on Aug. 8, 1997, 197, “Personal Life Insurance (Class 2),” “Personal Life Insurance (Class 3),” “Non-Distribution Scandp and Tep and Transport Accident Insurance (Class 4),” and on Aug. 20, 199, respectively. On Dec. 5, 2003, the Plaintiff: (a) designated the Insured as the deceased and the beneficiary as the heir; and (b) concluded an insurance contract with the Defendant Company on Apr. 3, 1995 (hereinafter collectively referred to as “each of the instant insurance contracts in the event that both the “Scand 1 Insurance” and the “Scand 1 or 4 insurance are collectively referred to as the “Scand 4 insurance”).

C. The sum of the insurance proceeds subject to dispute under each of the instant insurance contracts is KRW 135,477,000 (i.e., Type 1 insurance KRW 100,000,000, KRW 2 insurance KRW 8,000,000 as indicated below (i.e., KRW 15,096,00).
