Punishment of the crime

[Criminal Records] Defendant A was sentenced to imprisonment for 8 months with labor for a violation of the Act on the Punishment of Acts, such as Intermediating, etc. of Commercial Sex Acts, by the Seoul Western District Court on December 23, 2016, and was sentenced to 2 years of suspended execution on December 31, 2016, which became final and conclusive on December 31, 2016.

[2] Criminal facts: (a) Defendant A, B, C, and D is a person who operated a sexual traffic business establishment under the trade name of Defendant A, B, and D, “H”, “I”, and “J”; and (b) Defendant A is a person who has managed “H” in a sexual traffic business establishment; (c) Defendant B, and C is a person who has managed “I” and “J”; and Defendant D is a person who has been working for “H” in a sexual traffic business establishment.

1. Defendants A and D, along with the business owner E, advertised commercial sex acts on the Internet site, including M, N, andO, from January 6, 2017 to April 2, 2017 (Provided, That Defendant D, from March 2, 2017 to April 2, 2017), advertised 312, 407, and 511 of Mapo-gu Seoul Mapo-gu Office Officetel 220, and 711 of the Seoul Mapo-gu Ltel 220, and 711, as the trade name of “H”, and ordered male customers, such as Q, R, and S, who reported the advertisement, to receive an offer of KRW 150,00 to 30,000 from male customers, including Q, R, and S, and received sexual intercourse with male customers.

As a result, Defendants conspired with E to engage in commercial sex acts such as arranging sexual traffic.

2. Joint crimes by Defendant B and C

A. The Defendants, along with the business owner E, advertised a commercial entertainment business place on the Internet website, including M, N, andO, with the name-free male customers who reported the advertisement, who were waiting in the said officetel from the lower police officer of December 2, 2016 to April 2, 2017, as the name of “J”, by leasing Nos. 914, 1823, and 1916 of the Mapo-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government Ttel 914, 1823 and 1916.

The name “U”, “V”, “W”, and other women engaged in sexual traffic, shall be 150,000 to 300,000 won from male customers.
