Defendants shall be punished by imprisonment for ten months.

However, each of the above penalties shall be executed for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

No person, other than the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation or an entrusted business entity, shall provide property or property benefits to a person who has issued sports betting tickets or similar things and predicted the result, and may establish a place or space for gambling for profit.

E/F, around July 2014, opened a private sports soil site called “G” (H and I) with computers, etc. installed in the B, and employed the Defendants, J, K, L, etc., and let unspecified persons join the above site as members, and let them gain money by predicting domestic and overseas sports games, such as festivals, farming and camping districts, etc., and refund prize money according to the pre-determined dividend rate to those who win the winner in accordance with the actual sports result, and from around July 2014 to March 2015, Defendant A operated the private sports soil site by using a private sports soil site from around July 2014 to around March 2015, Defendant B, from around September 2014 to around March 2015, Defendant B sent money from the Busan Africa’s server to the manager of the Africa or from around Busan 2015 to the manager of the Africa’s hereinafter.

Accordingly, the Defendants, in collusion with E, F, etc., set up a space for gambling for profit by operating the “G” sports discussions site in the above manner, and provided property or property benefits to persons who correctly predicted the outcome by issuing things similar to the sports promotion betting tickets even though they are not the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation and the entrusted business entity.
