A Imprisonment for six months, Defendant B shall be punished by a fine of three million won, and Defendant C shall be punished by a fine of two million won.

Defendant

A on February 24, 2017, the Gwangju District Court was sentenced to a suspended sentence of one-year imprisonment for a violation of the Act on the Punishment of Acts, such as Intermediation of Commercial Sex Acts (remediation of commercial sex acts, etc.) and is currently pending in the appellate trial.

The Defendants jointly committed the crime at the Seo-gu Seoul Special Metropolitan City Ftel with mind to operate a commercial sex acts business establishment in the name of “G”, and the Defendant A leased four rooms among officetels, managed the facilities and operating funds, customer personal information DB, etc. The Defendant B leased three rooms among officetels, provided customer information, and provided customer information, management of female employees, advertisement transmission of commercial sex acts, etc. The Defendant C conspired to operate the said commercial sex acts business establishment by providing customer information, customer management, advertisement transmission of commercial sex acts, etc.

The Defendants conspiredd as above with the Defendants in violation of the Act on the Punishment, etc. of Acts of Arranging sexual traffic (i.e., brokerage of sexual traffic) from Sept. 27, 2016 to Oct. 16, 2016; Defendant C had the said officetel 214, 423, 718, 103, 1109, 1118, 1324 from Oct. 4, 2016 to Oct. 16, 2016, and had the said officetel 214, 423, 718, 103, 109, 1128, and 1324 to have a customer with sexual intercourse, who is an employee of sexual traffic, Ha (H), Ha, J, etc., or a foreigner’s nationality and three female customers with her own name and sexual intercourse.

As a result, Defendants conspired to arrange sexual traffic for business purposes.

(b) No person who violates the Act on the Punishment, etc. of Acts of Arranging sexual traffic shall place an advertisement on a place of business in which such acts are conducted, such as arranging sexual traffic or sexual traffic;

Nevertheless, the Defendants conspired as above, from September 27, 2016 to October 16, 2016, Defendant A and B, and Defendant C, from October 4, 2016 to October 16, 201, as the title “L”, on the Internet site of “K”, from October 4, 2016 to October 16, 2016.
