Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 500,000.

Where the defendant fails to pay the above fine, one hundred thousand won shall be one day.

Punishment of the crime

The defendant is the C representative located B at the time of literature and is engaged in construction business without full-time workers.

When a worker dies or retires, the employer shall pay the wages, compensations, and other money or valuables within fourteen days after the cause for such payment occurred.

Provided, That in special circumstances, the date may be extended by mutual agreement between the parties.

Nevertheless, the Defendant was in charge of D’s work at the construction site located in D’s housing repair site during the period from December 23, 2016 to January 18, 2017, and the Defendant did not pay the total of KRW 1,320,000 as wages of KRW 240,000 on December 12, 2016, and wages of KRW 1,320,000 on January 2017, without agreement on the extension of the payment period between the parties, within 14 days from the date of retirement when the grounds for the payment occur.
