Punishment of the crime

"2019 Highest 1216"

1. On June 15, 2019, at around 17:49, the Defendant: (a) boarded a cab operated by the victim C, who is a taxi engineer, from the frontway of the Yansan-gu, Seoul Special Metropolitan City; and (b) operated the F restaurant located in Seojin-gu E on the same day at around 18:36 on the same day.

However, the defendant did not have the intention or ability to pay taxi expenses even if he uses the taxi of the victim.

As such, the Defendant, by deceiving the victim, did not pay 11,800 won taxi fee from the victim, thereby taking economic benefits equivalent to the same amount.

2. On June 19, 2019, the Defendant, at around 14:13, 2019, boarded the taxi in front of the H, which is a taxi engineer, operated to the vicinity of the Korean Hospital, L, M, cafeteria, etc. located in the Jeonju City-si, the Defendant, via the K Hospital, L, and M, at around 17:28 on the same day.

However, the defendant did not have the intention or ability to pay taxi expenses even if he uses the taxi of the victim.

As such, the Defendant, by deceiving the victim, did not pay 64,150 won of taxi charges from the victim, thereby taking economic benefits equivalent to the same amount.

3. On June 27, 2019, the Defendant: (a) taken a taxi of Qu, a taxi engineer, in front of the 680 Jeonju Station, from the 680 Jeonju Station, to the Seojin-gu Dongdong unit on June 27, 2019; and (b) went through the North Jeju Jeju Provincial Tax Office, etc. located in Jeonju City on the same day to the Ysan-gu R in Jeonju Station on the same day.

However, the defendant did not have the intention or ability to pay taxi expenses even if he uses the taxi of the victim.

As such, the Defendant, by deceiving the victim, did not pay 19,900 won taxi fee from the victim, thereby taking economic benefits equivalent to the same amount.

4. On July 3, 2019, around 01:22, the Defendant was boarding a taxi operated by the victim S, who is a taxi driver, from the 19 riding funeral distance in the Seojin-gu, Seojin-gu, Seoul Special Metropolitan City on July 3, 2019, and on the same day.
