Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 500,000.

Where the defendant fails to pay the above fine, one hundred thousand won shall be one day.

Punishment of the crime

The defendant was a person who had been married to a candidate for the election district belonging to the council member C in the City Council member of the 7th simultaneous local election.

No person shall publish a false fact (where he/she publishes an educational background, he/she shall not do so except for the regular educational background and the academic background completed in a foreign educational course equivalent thereto) with respect to the place of birth, status, occupation, career, property, personality, act, organization to which he/she belongs, etc. of a candidate, such as the place of birth, status, occupation, career, etc. of a candidate, in favor of a candidate (including a person who intends to be a candidate), by means of a speech, broadcast, newspaper, communication, magazine, poster, propaganda document, or any other means,

Nevertheless, the Defendant produced 1,00 pages 1,00 of the name cards indicating the academic background other than the regular academic background, such as the completion of the senior manager course at the graduate school of the F University regional policy graduate school and the completion of the G major management graduate school, from March 9, 2018 to October 10 of the same month, and distributed approximately 100 of the name cards produced by visiting the community halls located at H in the Namnam-si from March 9, 2018 to the residents of the constituency.

Accordingly, the defendant published false facts about the academic background of the candidate for the purpose of winning the election.
