A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for one year.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendant, from around April 1998, was in office as the secretary of the National Assembly and assistant to the National Assembly members of the National Assembly. around April 2004, the Defendant was going to the election of the 17th National Assembly members of the National Assembly. around April 2007, the 17th Presidential Transition Committee was in office as the planning and coordination division and the standing advisory members, and was in office from April 2009 to November 201.

On May 208, the Defendant received orders from the representative F of the E company from G to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (Ministry of the Interior and Safety (Ministry of Public Administration, 2013; hereinafter “Ministry of the Interior and Safety”) and accepted special subsidies from Busan Metropolitan City. The Defendant: (a) requested that the E company be granted special subsidies applied to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (Ministry of the Interior and Safety, 2013; hereinafter “Ministry of the Interior and Safety”); and (b) requested that the E company be granted special subsidies applied to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety in Busan Metropolitan City. If it is well known, the Defendant accepted the application upon request of the Busan Metropolitan City to the effect that the special subsidies applied to the Ministry of the Interior

On the other hand, Busan Metropolitan City, which received special subsidies from the Ministry of Public Administration and Security on December 30, 2008, made a budget with H contributions of KRW 450 million among KRW 1 billion of the special subsidies received from the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, and granted them as “project cost for free distribution of the E company” to F, on the same day, F borrowed money using an account in the name of the employees of “I” that he issued 100 million of the above project cost, and ordered G to deliver the amount of KRW 100 million at the expense of the Defendant who received the special subsidies to G as project cost.

On December 31, 2008, the Defendant received the above KRW 70 million out of the total amount of KRW 100,000,000 from G that received instructions from F to arrange matters concerning the grant of special subsidies to public officials belonging to the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, in a restaurant where it is impossible to know the trade name in the Seoul city located in Yongsan-gu, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

By doing so, the defendant may receive money and valuables on the intermediation of matters belonging to public officials' duties.
