A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than ten months.

16,000,000 won shall be additionally collected from the defendant.

Criminal facts

From December 1, 2003 to January 29, 2009, the Defendant has been in charge of various bid and purchase ordered by the said department, performance testing, maintenance and repair of supplied goods, etc., as the director of the F Team, who works for the head of the first power plant operation department E of the Korea Water and Energy Headquarters (hereinafter referred to as “Korea Water and Energy Center”) and the head of the first power plant operation department E of the Korea Water and Energy Headquarters changed the name to the F Team on January 30, 2009.

1. On December 21, 2007, G Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “G”) related to breach of trust was a supply contract of 54,697,00 won for fuel exchange equipment cooling units E, which was ordered by the monthly headquarters’s first power plant operation department E on December 21, 2007; a supply contract of 53,600,000 won which was ordered by the same department on April 29, 2008; a supply contract of 52,519,000 won which was ordered by the same department on November 14, 208; an order of 64,350,000 won which was placed by the same department on March 18, 201; a supply contract of 53,600 won which was placed by the same department on April 29, 200; a supply contract of 360,000 won which was continuously ordered by the same department on March 18, 2010.

On March 5, 2008, the Defendant received KRW 10 million from the Defendant’s agricultural bank account with the indication of the director in charge of G’s business operation as to the conclusion and progress of the instant supply contract and the auditor’s inspection on the future execution of the instant contract.

2. On March 13, 2007, I related to I Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “I”) contracts for supply, such as round-down pumps in an amount equivalent to KRW 34,050,00,00, which was ordered by the Department E of the First Power Station Operation of the Korea Atomic Energy Headquarters (hereinafter “I”), supply contracts for pumps such as 91,750,000, which was ordered by the same department on November 13, 2009, and supply contracts for pumps such as 91,750,000, which was ordered by the same department on March 20, 2010, which was ordered by the same department on March 20, 2010.
