Defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for a term of one year and six months.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendant is a livestock product seller who sells livestock products under the trade name of “stock company D” in Daegu-gu, Daegu-gu.

Any meat sales business operator shall observe matters concerning the sanitary processing, packaging, storage, transportation, distribution, display, sale, etc. of livestock products in order to maintain sanitary management and trade order in the course of conducting business, and when any meat sales business operator stores and sells meat, he/she shall place a label on the kinds of meat, names of parts, grades, slaughters, name of slaughters, date of packaging, date of distributing, period of distributing, and method of packaging, and in such cases, he/she shall not place such label falsely, and issue receipts, specifications of transactions, etc. stating the kinds of meat, place of origin, serial numbers, etc. to the food service business operator, and shall not use any false label

From June 25, 2015 to June 21, 2016, the Defendant indicated the kinds of meat with no indication of grade, name of slaughterhouse, and distribution time limit, in selling the amount equivalent to KRW 7,345 g, 283, 546,450, the Defendant indicated the kinds of meat at the D office of the said stock company from June 25, 2015 to June 21, 2016.

From December 31, 2015 to June 21, 2016, the Defendant sold an amount equivalent to KRW 4,076kg, 16,281,400,000 from the office of the said stock company D, to E-cafeteria, without indicating the grade, the name of the slaughterhouse, and the due date for distribution, marked the kinds of meat with a single letter, and marked the kinds of meat in the transaction specifications.

Accordingly, the defendant did not observe the matters concerning the sanitary processing, packing, storage, transportation, distribution, display, sale, etc. of livestock products in order to maintain the sanitary management and trade order when the business operator conducts his/her business.
