Defendant shall be punished by a fine of one million won.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, the amount of KRW 100,000 shall be paid.

Punishment of the crime

On December 9, 2017, the Defendant: (a) made a false certificate of graduation from a high school in order to provide employment; (b) requested C to forge a certificate of graduation from a high school, which was known through Internet search (such as forgery of public documents in Suwon District Court, 2018 high-level 2252 high school; and (c) notified C of his name, date of birth, date of issuance, and date of issuance, etc. after paying KRW 700,000 in return; and (d) around that time, C received an image file of a certificate of graduation from another’s name and seal affixed by the principal of D high school on the Internet by searching the image file of the certificate of graduation from the other’s name and downloading it, (c) the name of the certificate of graduation from the Internet, (d) the date of birth, (e) the date of graduation, (e) the F date, and (e) the above person’s date of graduation from the main text “the date of February 13, 1986.”

“Ro, Issuance Date, December 08, 2017,” the document last [the original document number] was modified to “G”; the main text and the official seal of the principal of D, the lower part of the school principal, the original identification mark, etc. were attached, and printed out into a local printer. After sending the Defendant a photograph of the above printed material into a mobile phone with the text message, the Defendant sent the photo taken into a mobile phone with the text message. After receiving the payment, the Defendant sent the printed material to the Defendant via e-mail, and the Defendant printed it into a local printer.

Accordingly, the defendant, in collusion with C, forged a letter of graduation under the name of the principal of a private document D, a private document, for the purpose of uttering.
