Punishment of the crime

On March 22, 2019, the Defendant was sentenced to imprisonment with prison labor for one year at the Suwon District Court on March 30, 2019, and the judgment became final and conclusive on March 30, 2019.

【Criminal Facts】

On June 24, 2018, the Defendant concluded that he would sell game money to the victim C through online games “B” hosting around 00:59.

However, even if the defendant received money from the victim, he did not have the intent or ability to pay the game money.

Nevertheless, the Defendant received KRW 37,00 from the victim’s account in the name of the Defendant and received total of KRW 1,196,700 from the victims from around 17:4 on August 12, 2019, including the transfer of KRW 37,00 from the victim’s account.

Accordingly, the defendant was provided property by deceiving the victims.

On August 10, 2019, the Defendant made a false statement that he would sell game money to the victim D through online game “B” hosting around 17:35 on August 10, 2019.

However, even if the defendant received money from the victim, he did not have the intent or ability to pay the game money.

Nevertheless, the Defendant received KRW 142,00 from the victim’s bank account in the name of the Defendant and received KRW 388,000,000 from that time to September 18, 2019, in total, six times from September 20, 2019.

Accordingly, the defendant was provided property by deceiving the victims.
