Defendant shall be punished by a fine of three million won.

Punishment of the crime

[Criminal Power] On January 17, 2018, the Defendant was sentenced to two years of imprisonment with prison labor for the crime of forging private documents at the Jung-gu District Court, which became final and conclusive on April 6, 2018.

【Criminal Facts】

1. No person who violates the National Health Insurance Act shall receive or allow another person to receive insurance benefits by fraud or other improper means;

Nevertheless, on November 22, 2015, the Defendant received insurance benefits of KRW 1,94,060,060 in total by 21 times from around such time to January 11, 2017, by stealing the name of the National Health Insurance policyholder D by stealing the name of the National Health Insurance policyholder at the Seocho-gu Incheon Metropolitan City Hospital B, Yongsan-gu, and by taking account of the following: (a) from around November 22, 2015, the Defendant received the insurance benefits of KRW 1,94,060 in total by fraudulent or other unlawful means, such as the list of crimes in the attached list.

2. No person who violates the Resident Registration Act shall unlawfully use another person's resident registration number.

Nevertheless, on November 22, 2015, the Defendant used D’s resident registration number without permission when receiving treatment as “a disease with unknown details of the fire extinguishing system” in the above C Hospital from around that time to January 11, 2017, and used D’s resident registration number unlawfully after being treated by medical care institutions on a total of 21 occasions as shown in the attached crime list.

3. On November 22, 2015, the Defendant received treatment as “a detailed disease with the fire extinguishing system’s unknown” at the above C Hospital, and received treatment using D’s resident registration number and using D’s resident registration number, etc. from around that time to January 11, 2017, the Defendant received treatment using D’s resident registration number at the medical care institution for a total of 21 times as indicated in the attached crime list.

However, the defendant was using D's resident registration number without permission.

The Defendant, like this, shall be the National Health Insurance Corporation by deceiving employees of health care institutions.
