1. The defendant A shall be punished by imprisonment with prison labor for ten months.

However, the above sentence shall be executed for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

No person, other than the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation and entrusted business entities, may issue sports betting tickets or similar.

1. The Defendants’ co-offenderd with the following: (a) by opening and operating a gambling site “sports soil (referring to a kind of leisure games that are operated by the sports sports sports games, Co., Ltd., an entrusted business entity of the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation)”; (b) by investing KRW 15 million in the site operation fund; and (c) Defendant A, C, D, and E collected the site directly while entering, filling, exchanging, advertising the site, and paying money.

Accordingly, from March 2010 to October 2010, the Defendants conspired to open and operate a server in a foreign country, such as Sungnam-si Ftel 707, and opened and operate a private sports soil site of "G", the Defendants received money from many and unspecified members into the accounts of community credit cooperatives (H), I’s bank accounts in the name of Korea (J), agricultural cooperative accounts in the name of Eul (K), Eul’s agricultural cooperative accounts (M), N’s agricultural cooperative accounts (O), and the agricultural cooperative accounts in the name of N. The Defendants opened dividends calculated in accordance with the dividend rates of each sports game, and opened up the sports promotion betting tickets similar to the sports promotion betting tickets.

2. Defendant A and B’s co-principal - who invested funds in the operation of the gambling site as seen above, had the intent to recover investments from C, D, and E and transfer the gambling office to Gwangju-ju office from the site operation and operate the gambling site.

Accordingly, the Defendants conspired to make profits.
