Defendant

A shall be punished by a fine for negligence of KRW 3,000,000, and by a fine of KRW 1,000,000.

The above fine is imposed against the Defendants.

Criminal facts

1. Defendant A was elected at an election for the chief director of the G Saemaul Fund, which was implemented on January 14, 2012.

No one shall provide members of community credit cooperatives or their families with money, entertainment, or other property benefits for the purpose of getting himself/herself or a specific person elected as an executive of a credit cooperative, in connection with the election campaign for executive officers of community

Nevertheless, the Defendant:

A. On November 13, 201, at H I restaurant located in Jung-gu, Daegu at H on November 13, 2011, offer the J, a representative of G community credit cooperatives, KRW 40,000,000, as a result of making soup at the request of the J to support himself;

B. On November 17, 201, in front of the L Hospital located in Daegu-gu, Daegu-gu, providing the said J with meals together with N,O, P, Q, R, etc., the representatives of G community credit cooperatives in his/her G apartment in his/her Dong-gu, Daegu-gu, with KRW 200,00 in cash upon request of the said J to support himself/herself;

C. From November 201, 201 to January 2012, 100 won in cash was provided to S, who is the representative of the said G community credit cooperative, upon requesting that S, a representative of the said G community credit cooperative, support himself/herself.

2. Defendant B was a person who was killed in the election of the president of the G Saemaul Depository on January 14, 2012.

No one shall provide members of community credit cooperatives or their families with money, entertainment, or other property benefits for the purpose of getting himself/herself or a specific person elected as an executive of a credit cooperative, in connection with the election campaign for executive officers of community

Nevertheless, on November 12, 2011, the Defendant provided KRW 50,000 won of meals and cash in the amount of KRW 10,000 of the market price upon requesting the above J to support himself in the election of the president of the community credit cooperatives in the Daegu Suwon-gu Telecommunication.
