A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for six months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for a period of two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

On July 2014, the Defendant, along with C, conspiredd with C to operate an illegal game hall, by setting up five games for “Yamatoto” and nine games for “sea-to-sea-to-sea”, which were not classified in the rating in the game room in Ulsan-gu, Ulsan-do. The Defendant recruited to operate the game room, such as exchanging the said games to customers.

1. Violation of the Game Industry Promotion Act;

(a) No one shall provide game products for the distribution or use, or display or keep such game products for such purposes;

Nevertheless, on September 2014, the Defendant, along with C, installed five game material for “gymnato” and nine game equipment for “sea-gymnatomnatom”, which were not classified in the above game field among the first patrolmen from September 2014 to the middle patrolmen from September 2014, and provided them for use by many and unspecified customers.

As a result, the Defendant conspired with C to provide game water that was not classified as rating.

(b) No person shall engage in a business of exchanging, arranging exchange or repurchase intangible results obtained through the use of game water;

Nevertheless, the Defendant, along with C, exchanged in cash the remainder after deducting 10% from the amount calculated by cash per point 1 point obtained through game water, against many unspecified customers who find the place at the time and place specified in the above paragraph (a).

As a result, the defendant conspired with C to exchange results obtained through the use of game products for business purposes.

2. No person who violates the Act on Special Cases concerning Regulation and Punishment of Speculative Acts, Etc. shall engage in speculative acts as a business by using slot machines or speculative gaming machines, other than speculative business;

Nevertheless, the defendant, together with C, has many unspecified customers at the time and place described in the above paragraph 1.
