1. Of the instant lawsuits, the part of the claim for nullification of the disposition taken on August 31, 2015 by the doctor’s degree table is dismissed.

2. The plaintiff.

1. Details of the disposition;

A. On February 24, 2006, the Plaintiff obtained a doctorate from the graduate school of B University as a thesis of “C” (hereinafter “the thesis of this case”).

B. On May 1, 2015, the Defendant obtained the Plaintiff’s master’s degree thesis (E; hereinafter “D thesis”) from a civil petitioner by plagiarism, and accordingly, received mail from the civil petitioner to request the Plaintiff to take legitimate measures, such as cancelling the Plaintiff’s doctor’s degree. The Defendant received the information from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission on May 28, 2015 on the same content as the above civil petition.

C. On June 18, 2015, the Defendant decided to organize a subcommittee for investigating plagiarism of the instant thesis through a deliberation by the 5th graduate school committee in 2015. Accordingly, the subcommittee of a graduate school committee comprised of the above decisions determined that “a similarity analysis of data and content of each thesis is substantially identical to the experiment data of the instant thesis and D thesis, and that the composition and content of the two degrees are substantially identical.”

On August 27, 2015, the 9th Graduate School Committee decided on August 27, 2015 that “it shall be determined that the experimental data and the composition and description of two thesis are serious plagiarism, inform the Plaintiff of the results of the determination and the procedures for filing an objection, and present them for deliberation by the graduate school committee.”

E. On August 31, 2015, the Defendant notified the Plaintiff of the notice of the result of the civil petition review referred to as “a plagiarism at a serious level of plagiarism with the experimental data, composition, and description of the instant thesis” (hereinafter “instant doctoral degree dissertation notice”).

F. On October 22, 2015, the 12th graduate school committee, upon the Plaintiff’s filing of objection, may examine the instant thesis table.
