Punishment of the crime

1. Defendant A’s position at the 7th simultaneous local elections conducted on June 13, 2018, held the position of “Secretariat” in the election office of G (I political party and election) held as a candidate for H/Gun at the time of the 7th simultaneous local elections, and Defendant B held the position of “the head of the organization headquarters”; Defendant C held the position of “the director of the organization bureau”; and Defendant C carried out an election campaign in the state of unregistered registration.

D, E, and F are all registered as an election campaign worker of the above candidate, and Defendant D is one of four trillion won, Defendant E, and F are four trillion won.

2. Except for the cases of offering allowances, actual expenses, other benefits under the Public Official Election Act, no one shall offer, express an intention to offer, or promise to offer, direct, induce, mediate, demand or receive money, goods, or other benefits in connection with the election campaign regardless of the pretext such as allowances, actual expenses, other compensation for volunteer service, etc.;

Defendant

At around 02:00 on June 14, 2018, the Defendants of the joint criminal conduct A and B gathered to offer money and valuables in return for election campaign to election campaign workers at the election office of G candidates located on the third floor of the Gyeonggi-do J building. According to the above conspiracy, Defendant A delivered KRW 3.5 million in cash to Defendant B in front of “L” located in the Gyeonggi-do sports around June 20, 2018, and Defendant B provided KRW 3.5 million in cash to five bags (9 million x 1,700 won x 2,600 won x 2) of the above cash bags. On June 23, 2018, Defendant B provided KRW 600,000 in front of the N-Myeon office located in the Gyeonggi-do M with the above four election campaign workers excluding KRW 500,000 (600,000 x 2).

As a result, the Defendants conspired to offer money and valuables in relation to the election campaign.
