Defendant A was sentenced to one year of imprisonment for a violation of the Petroleum and Petroleum Substitute Fuel Business Act at the Daejeon District Court on April 19, 2018, and the judgment became final and conclusive August 16, 2018, and Defendant B was sentenced to two years of imprisonment for a crime of fraud in the same court on October 27, 2016, and the judgment became final and conclusive on November 4, 2016.

As seen above, while the Defendants were operating the above gas station with C, etc., they failed to pay employees’ benefits due to business depression, etc., the Defendants solicited to purchase fake petroleum products and sell them to non-motor vehicle drivers.

According to the above public offering, the Defendants: (a) from around July 12, 201 to around July 2, 2011 (in the case of Defendant A, from around August 24, 201, business registration was made as above); (b) from around October 27, 201 of the same year, in order to purchase and sell gasoline and diesel which are fake petroleum products mixed with other petroleum products (water inducement solvents, etc.) and petrochemicals (Toluene and Ethol), the Defendants kept them in the said gas tank (in the case of Defendant A, from around August 27, 2011, storage of gasoline and light oil of 10,000 liters of fake petroleum products and 25,749 liter at the time of crackdown around October 27, 2011).
