A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for one year.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for a period of two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

[2016 order 6] The Defendant is an organization E (hereinafter referred to as “E”) F branch director of F branch office in Busan.

On May 1, 2015, G, the chairperson of E, was issued a warrant of arrest by the court on June 23, 2015 due to suspicion of interference with the performance of special duties during the participation in the world labor-saving assembly. On May 24, 2014, the court issued a warrant of detention on November 11, 2015 due to the suspicion of non-compliance with the general traffic and dispersion order and the violation of the Assembly and Demonstration Act. Since June 2015, G continued to escape from around 2015, and the Defendant was aware that G was transferred to Korea by the warrant as above.

G planned a large-scale illegal assembly on November 14, 2015, under the name of “H”, and compared to the attempt of the police to arrest G participating in the assembly during the above assembly, E members including the Defendant, who organized so-called “private unit” for G and attempted to interfere with the police’s execution of the above arrest warrant.

On November 14, 2015, at around 13:10 on November 14, 2015, G, in front of the I building in Jung-gu Seoul Special Metropolitan City, she safeguarded G in his/her neighboring area, and around that time, police officers, such as the Seoul Nam-gu Police Station Chief of the Investigation and Inspection Division, tried to present the above warrant of arrest to G and arrest G while informing other police officers of their intent.
