Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 1,000,000.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, 50,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

On June 11, 2013, at around 16:10, the Defendant was getting off the elevator 1st floor of Gangnam-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government Btel.

Since the above elevator is a place where people board and alight, the defendant has a duty of care to prevent people from getting off or from causing danger in advance at the time of closing the door.

Nevertheless, the defendant neglected to do so and without delay closed the elevator door, and the victim C (the 1 year old), who was on board the elevator in the outside machine, caused the loss of the head, which requires approximately two weeks of treatment due to the loss and the head of the elevator door, caused the loss of other hand and the loss of the part of the hand.
