Punishment of the crime

On November 20, 2012, the Defendant was sentenced to two years of suspended execution and a fine of 1.5 million won in October, 2012, and the said judgment became final and conclusive on June 8, 2013.

The Defendant was appointed as a police officer around October 17, 1998 and served as a police officer by promotion to the police officer around December 31, 2003, and around June 25, 2007, while serving as a police officer around September 18, 2012, and served as a former police officer from around October 17, 1998, via the E-dong Team of the Daegu Regional Police Agency, the Daegu North Korean Police Agency, the Police StationF of the Daegu Northern District, etc., and served as a police officer from around May 4, 2004 to July 21, 2009, while serving as a police officer from around July 22, 2009 to the Daegu Regional Police Agency and the G H Team, etc., and served as a similar police officer in charge of economic investigation at the International Police Station from around July 22, 2009 to November 1, 2011.

한편, J과 K은 ㈜L, ㈜M, ㈜N, ㈜O, ㈜P, ㈜Q, ㈜R 등 25개( 매출금 분산 입금을 위한 소위 ‘S’ 포함) 불법 다단계 유사 수신업체의 회장 및 부사장 직책으로 위 업체들을 운영하면서 부회장 T, 영업 부사장 U, 교육위원장 V, 전산실장 W 및 경인지역 ㈜R 등의 경영진 X, Y, Z 등 각 법인의 경영진 및 센터 장 등과 공모하여 2004년 경부터 2008. 10. 31. 경까지 대구, 인천, 부산 등 지역에서 7만 여 명의 피해자들을 상대로 약 5조 715억 원대 이상 규모의 금융 다단계 상습 사기 범행을 저지른 후, J은 2008. 12. 10. 경 중국으로 도주하고, K은 2008. 11. 2. 경 경찰 수사를 피해 중국으로 도주하여 도피 생활을 하다가 2015. 10. 10. 경 중국에서 공안에 검거된 후 2015. 12. 16. 경 국내로 송환되어 2016. 1. 4. 경 대구지방법원에 특정경제범죄 가중처벌 등에 관한 법률위반( 사기) 죄 등으로 구속기소 되고, 2016. 4. 2. 같은 법원에 뇌물 공여 죄 등으로 추가 기소되어 현재 각 재판 계속 중이다.
