Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 7,000,000.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, 50,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendant is a person who is engaged in driving a motor bicycle.

On May 9, 2013, the Defendant driven the above motorcycle on May 10, 2013, and got to turn to the right of the literature center while driving the road in front of the Busan National Library that was located in the Geum-gu, Busan.

Since there are no signal apparatus and traffic control, the driver of a motorcycle has a duty of care to reduce the speed for the driver of the motorcycle and to make a left turn after checking whether there is a vehicle that is directly engaged in driving the motorcycle, and to prevent the accident from spreading.

Nevertheless, the defendant neglected to do so and proceeded on the left side of the defendant, and thereby, he was driven by D, who was driving on the right side on the left side of the defendant, as the left side of the motor bicycle.

Ultimately, the Defendant suffered injury to the victim F, who was aboard the Defendant’s motorcycle due to the above occupational negligence, for approximately eight weeks of medical treatment.
