A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for a term of one year and two months.

Punishment of the crime

On November 14, 2013, the Defendant was sentenced to two years of imprisonment for fraud at the Seoul Central District Court in Seoul, and was released on January 30, 2015 during the execution of the sentence, and the parole period was terminated on March 5, 2015.

Criminal facts

1. On October 2016, the Defendant involved in the new construction of the Cambodian National Armed Forces Hospital was the representative director of (ju)D with the purpose of carrying out cosmetics and medical device import-sale business, or the victim P who had a regular course of business of AE (ju) with the main purpose of supervision and construction design and construction around October 2016, which was “AE (ju), was promoting Cambodian projects.” The Switzerland investment company, which was the Switzerland investment company, agreed to receive the funds of the “AF” and thus, it may obtain a large amount of profit if the Switzerland is created. However, in order to acquire the Switzerland site, it would be possible to newly construct the National Armed Forces Hospital in Cambodia, and it would be possible to take charge of the design work of the National Armed Forces Hospital in the AE (ju) to negotiate with the victim and the hospital design contract.”

On November 8, 2016, the Defendant concluded a design contract agreement with Cambodian National Armed Forces Design Agreement equivalent to USD 2,90,000,000, and promptly paid a down payment equivalent to KRW 500,000 from the said Switzerland investment company to the victim who requires the performance of the design contract as an executive officer of the AE (E) at a non-place below Daejeon on and below Daejeon. The Defendant said, “AE is a business that should pay a bribe, etc. to local public officials of Cambodia, and there is a shortage of funds before the Switzerland enters into the Switzerland, she would first lend funds to be used in the local area of Cambodia, and thereafter, she would pay the above money to the victim after entering into the design contract.”

However, in fact, the defendant did not specifically proceed with the metregic cooking project or the new hospital construction project in Cambodia, and a large amount of investment money from the Switzerland investment company.
