1. The defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for eight months;

2. Provided, That the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive;

Punishment of the crime

No one shall knowingly receive any divulged personal information for profit or for any other wrongful purpose.

Nevertheless, around December 31, 2013, the Defendant: (a) purchased the DB file containing personal information from the Defendant’s house located in Seo-gu Daejeon, Daejeon; (b) purchased personal information to use the loan brokerage business; and (c) purchased the DB file containing personal information from C, which was known through the Internet NAN Mesenger’s 415,99; and (d) purchased the DB file containing personal information of 193,677 cases, total of 609,676 cases, to 9.50,000 won; and (b) received them through the NAM.

As a result, the Defendant knowingly received personal information for profit.

The reason for sentencing under Article 62-2 of the Criminal Act, Article 59 of the Act on Probation, etc. [Incompetence] of the Defendant’s crime of this case, it is not good that the Defendant’s wife wants to take the Defendant’s wife, in that it is against the good quality of the crime in that many victims may infringe on the confidentiality of personal information and the leaked personal information may be abused for other crimes due to the Defendant’s crime of this case.
