Defendant shall be punished by a fine of three million won.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, KRW 100,000.

Punishment of the crime

No person, other than the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation or an entrusted business entity, shall publicize an act of issuing sports betting tickets or similar things (including issuing them by means of information and communications networks) and providing property or financial benefits (hereinafter referred to as "similar act") to persons who win at the betting results, or mediate or arrange the purchase of sports betting tickets or similar things.

그럼에도 불구하고 피고인은 2020. 3. 9.경 서울 이하 불상지에서, 이전 성명불상자로부터 불법스포츠 도박 사이트인 ‘B’(C)를 홍보해주면 쿠폰을 주겠다는 제안을 받고 이를 수락한 다음 스마트폰을 이용하여 피고인의 페이스북에 접속한 후 “ㅅㅍㅊ ㅍㅇㅂ 문의문의”라는 글을 게시하고, 위 글을 보고 연락한 사람에게 사이트 주소인 'C/‘과 추천인 코드인 ’D'를 알려주는 방법으로 위 유사행위를 홍보하였다.
