A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment with prison labor for up to six months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for a period of two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

1. A person who intends to engage in loan business shall register his/her loan business with the competent authority having jurisdiction over the pertinent place of business by his/her place of business, notwithstanding the fact that he/she has to do so, the Defendant did not register his/her loan business with the competent authority. On March 10, 2017, the Defendant loaned 2.4 million won to the victim D and deducted 600,000 won from the interest rate. As such, the Defendant agreed to pay 3 million won with interest rate of 60,000 won after calculating the principal amount, and received it from October 7, 2016 to June 14, 2017.
