Defendant shall be punished by a fine of two million won.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, KRW 100,000.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendant is an employee in charge of Samsung Fire Co., Ltd., an insurance company, who deals with all affairs related to the traffic accident of the above company's automobile insurance from Samsung Fire.

On July 2013, the Defendant: (a) requested that “the victim of a traffic accident may use our company’s vehicle as a leased vehicle; (b) would make a rebates amounting to 10% to 15% or 15% of the rental vehicle usage fee; and (c) assisted the victim of a traffic accident who drives Fenz E-Csssss vehicles around July 20, 2013 to use the lease amount of the said D’s business establishment; and (d) received from the Seoul, Gwangjin-gu or Seongdong-gu, Seoul to receive KRW 210,00 as a referral fee from E.

As above, the Defendant, as well as a person who administers another’s business, received money and valuables in return for an illegal solicitation in connection with his/her duties, received 65,000 won in return for the illegal solicitation from E through December 8, 2015, and received 6,790,000 won in return for the illegal solicitation regarding his/her duties from E, as stated in the List of Crimes.
