Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 10,000,000.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, 50,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

From March 2004 to March 3, 2004, the Defendant is a public official who is a professor of the Korean Language Department of D University located in Chuncheon City.

From March 12, 2009, the Defendant assumed office as the president of the E Research Institute affiliated with D University (hereinafter “E Research Institute”), and held office concurrently by the victim D University Industry Cooperation Foundation (hereinafter “Academic Cooperation Foundation”) around November 1, 2007, as the research institute of the National Institute of Education, Science and Technology (FF Support Project), the total amount of service cost of KRW 10 years and KRW 9 billion.0 billion, the Defendant held office concurrently as the professor in charge of the FF Business Association (one head) who is a research institute of the E-Research Institute affiliated with D University and held office in charge of planning and budget execution of the aforementioned project.

The Defendant, who is appointed as the above E-Research Institute Head and the responsible professor of the FF Business Association, was in general in charge of the administration of the budget of the above business, in order to use part of the annual research and indirect costs for personal use different from the original purpose. In order to obtain a false tax invoice for the amount less than the amount actually purchased from the customer in the course of purchasing various office supplies or equipment used by the FFF G, or received a false tax invoice without any transaction of the goods, and then requested the employee in charge of the FFFF to pay the related goods by attaching the above false tax invoice to the employee in charge of the industry-academic cooperation foundation who is aware of the fact that it is true, the Defendant attempted to receive the difference from the customer after having the employee in charge of the FFFG pay the goods as requested by the said G to the said customer.

In addition, in order to cover the operating expenses of the E Research Institute, the Defendant had the said G take the research expenses, etc. from the above methods, and had the said G take the instructions to change the research expenses.

1. Fraud;
