Defendant

A and C shall be punished by a fine of KRW 3.5 million, and Defendant B shall be punished by a fine of KRW 4 million.

The above fine is imposed against the Defendants.

Punishment of the crime

Defendants are those who were employed as daily workers at the construction site of Taewon Construction Co., Ltd. located on 30 2nd dong-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul.

No person shall receive unemployment benefits by fraud or other improper means.

1. On December 29, 2010, Defendant A received job-seeking benefits of KRW 3,680,000 from January 10 to April 11, 2013, and continuously received job-seeking benefits of KRW 8,480,000 from a total of KRW 3,680,000 for job-seeking benefits from January 5, 201 to May 4, 201, even though Defendant A did not have worked for 180 days as a daily employee at the site of the Da apartment Dagwon Construction.

2. Defendant B, around March 12, 2009, received job-seeking benefits of KRW 3,600,000 from March 19, 2009 to June 16, 2009 and received job-seeking benefits of KRW 3,590,200 from January 15, 201 to April 4, 201, and received job-seeking benefits of KRW 3,600,00 in total from February 2, 2012 to May 1, 2012 as job-seeking benefits of KRW 3,60,000,00 from February 1, 201 to May 1, 2012.

3. Defendant C received job-seeking benefits of KRW 3,60,000 for job-seeking benefits from January 4, 2013 to April 31, 2013, and received job-seeking benefits of KRW 7,200,000 as job-seeking benefits, from January 2, 2012 to March 31, 2012, even though Defendant C did not have worked for 180 days as a daily employee at the site of the F apartment reconstruction construction of Taewonwon Construction as a daily employee. As such, Defendant C received job-seeking benefits of KRW 7,200,000,000, in total, after filing a false report as if he/she were eligible for benefits.
