Reasons
Punishment of the crime
Defendant is an employer who employs 59 full-time workers under the trade name of “E” located in P in P in Pakistan and has been engaged in the manufacturing industry.

1. Violation of the Labor Standards Act;
(a) An employer shall directly pay the full amount of wages to workers in currency, and shall pay it at least once a month on a fixed date;
Although the Defendant paid wages to workers on January 10, 2014 to February 2014, the 16,018,283 won of workers F during the period from February 2, 2014 to February 2, 2014, the Defendant did not pay the total of KRW 679,634,612 on the date of the regular wage payment, as shown in the attached list of crimes (1) as shown in the attached list of crimes.
(b) When an employee retires, an employer shall pay wages, compensations, and any other money or valuables within 14 days from the date of his retirement unless the employer has agreed on the extension of the payment date between the parties concerned;
Nevertheless, the Defendant, while working in the said workplace from June 1, 2012, did not pay KRW 3,408,244 of G’s wages to retired workers on March 4, 2014, within 14 days from the date on which the cause for payment occurred, without any agreement between the parties on the extension of the payment deadline, and did not pay KRW 693,513,003 of the total wages of 163 workers, as shown in the attached crime list (2) as in the previous crime list, without any agreement on the extension of the payment deadline between the parties.
2. An employer who violates the Guarantee of Retirement Benefits for a worker shall, if the worker retires, pay the retirement allowance within 14 days from the date of retirement, unless the parties have agreed on the extension of the payment period.
Nevertheless, on March 5, 2014, the Defendant did not pay KRW 3,765,620 of retirement allowances of H, retired workers while working in the above workplace within 14 days from the date of occurrence of the payment cause, without any agreement between the parties on the extension of the payment date.
