Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 4,500,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

[2013 fixed-term 2780] No person shall, for the purpose of profit-making, arrange any other person to provide entertainment to customers by drinking alcoholic beverages with customers, singing or dancing.

Nevertheless, at around 21:00 to 22:10 on February 15, 2013, the Defendant: (a) received a request from male customers under the name of the Defendant’s underground management of the Defendant’s wife E-Sae-si, and arranged six entertainment workers (G, H, I, J, K, and L) to drink with drinking customers, or to encourage them to enjoy entertainment by dancing or singing.

[2014 fixed-term 979] No person shall drink alcoholic beverages with customers, provide entertainment to customers by singing or dancing, or arrange other persons to provide such entertainment services, for profit.

On December 23, 2013, the Defendant, without obtaining permission from the competent administrative agency, assisted the customer to receive KRW 30,000 per hour for the purpose of making a defect, and arranged the customer to receive KRW 30,000 per hour for the purpose of making a profit.

[2014 high-level 1161] The Defendant is a person who operates a danran tavern with the trade name “F”.

A person, at a place where food service business is operated, shall not drink with customers, provide entertainment services by singing or dancing, or arrange other persons to provide entertainment services. However, the Defendant, from around 23:10 on December 3, 2013 to 23:50 on December 3, 2013, the Defendant: (a) received a request from the special guest N by the special guest E (F) and provided 25,000 won per hour for each individual entertainment worker; and (b) assisted two entertainment workers to provide entertainment services by drinking alcohol with customers, dancing, or singing with customers.
