Punishment of the crime

The defendant of "2018 Highest 407" is the representative of C Co., Ltd. located in Gunsan-si B, and the employer who runs the manufacturing business (refinite structure) using ten full-time workers.

When a worker dies or retires, the employer shall pay the wages, compensations, and other money or valuables within 14 days after the cause for such payment occurred.

Provided, That the date may be extended by mutual agreement between the parties in extenuating circumstances.

Nevertheless, the Defendant did not pay the total of KRW 25,50,000 to the nine workers (including KRW 2,300,000 of the wages of the retired workers D on October 21, 2017, and KRW 2,300,000 of the retired workers D, as well as KRW 2,30,00 of the wages of the retired workers D, within 14 days from the date of each retirement without any agreement on the extension of payment date between the parties concerned.

The defendant of "2018 Highest 646" is an employer who runs a manufacturing business (reficial structure) using ten full-time workers as the representative of C Co., Ltd. located in Gunsan-si B.

When a worker dies or retires, the employer shall pay the wages, compensations, and other money or valuables within 14 days after the cause for such payment occurred.

Provided, That the date may be extended by mutual agreement between the parties in extenuating circumstances.

Nevertheless, the Defendant did not pay KRW 1,700,000 from the date of retirement within 14 days from the date of retirement without an agreement on the extension of the payment deadline between the parties, in which he/she worked in the said workplace from November 25, 2017 to December 11, 2017 and retired employeeO.

The defendant of "2018 Highest 821" is a person who operates (State)C by employing ten full-time workers in Gunsan-si B with a volume of 10 workers.

When a worker dies or retires, the employer shall pay the wages within fourteen days after the cause for such payment occurred.
