Punishment of the crime

1. The defendant 2016 Highest 5948 is U representative director of the software development company in Gangnam-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government T.

When a worker dies or retires, the employer shall pay the wages, compensations, and other money or valuables within 14 days after the cause for such payment occurred, and where the worker retires, the employer shall pay the worker a retirement allowance within 14 days after the cause for such payment occurred.

Nevertheless, the Defendant did not pay wages of KRW 25,476,450 and retirement allowances of KRW 6,211,480 within 14 days from the date of retirement without agreement between the parties on the extension of the payment date between the parties, as well as KRW 2,3,50,00 on February 5, 2016, as well as KRW 2,00 on February 1, 2016.

2. The Defendant 2016 Highest 7489 is an employer as U representative director who employs 30 full-time workers in Gangnam-gu Seoul, Seoul for software development business, etc.

From May 28, 2015 to June 17, 2016, the Defendant did not pay 10,851,870 won in total for workers’ wages and retirement allowances from May 28, 2015 to June 17, 2016, without agreement between the parties on the extension of payment deadline, and did not pay 20,481,81,810 won in total for two workers’ wages and retirement allowances as shown in attached Table 2.

3. 2017 Highest 101 Defendant is the representative director of U in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, who ordinarily employs 30 workers and operates software development business, etc.

The Defendant, from March 2, 2015 to July 29, 2016, did not pay 11,187,780 won in total of the wages and retirement allowances of workers X employed by the said company within 14 days without an agreement between the parties on the extension of the payment deadline, as well as 1,187,780 won in attached Table 3 annually.
