1. The Defendant’s KRW 433,591,163 as well as the Plaintiff’s KRW 6% per annum from November 24, 2012 to January 16, 2014.

1. Basic facts

A. The parties’ status and the pertinent Plaintiff are corporations established mainly for the purpose of researching policies and systems for promoting cultural industries, which possess the entire building of the Korea Broadcasting Center located in Yangcheon-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government (hereinafter “instant building”). The Defendant is a corporation that runs the security service business of the instant building, and entered into a building management service contract with the Plaintiff.

B. On February 27, 2007, the Plaintiff entered into a building management service contract between the Plaintiff and the Defendant, with the term of the contract from March 1, 2007 to February 28, 2009, with the object as a whole of the instant building (hereinafter “instant contract”).

At the time of the conclusion of the instant contract, the Defendant: (a) maintained and maintained fully all machinery and electrical equipment installed within the instant building, including a cvector (in principle, referring to a facility that generates heat generated by circulation of air or liquid, referring to heating), and agreed to compensate the Plaintiff for damages in the event that the Defendant neglects such obligation and causes damage to the Plaintiff; and (b) agreed to the said condition.
