A defendant shall be punished by a fine of 500,000 won.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, 50,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

No farmland in an agricultural promotion area shall be diverted without obtaining permission to divert farmland.

Nevertheless, the Defendant, without obtaining permission to divert farmland from the competent administrative agency on June 2012, installed a housing facility (area of 50 square meters) on the ground of 547 square meters in Ulsan-gun, Ulsan-gun, Seoul located in the agricultural promotion area, which was located in the agricultural promotion area, and diverted the said farmland to residential areas.
