A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than eight months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

On May 8, 2014, at around 02:30, the Defendant driven CK5 car at the intersection of the IBK Enterprise Bank, which is located in the Cheongju-gu, Goi-gu, Goi-gu, Cheongju, and proceeded to turn to the left from the sari distance, while driving the CK5 car toward the sari distance from the sari-gu.

It is an intersection where a signal, etc. is installed.

In such cases, the driver of a motor vehicle has a duty of care to confirm whether there is a vehicle passing through the intersection by examining the front left left, and to prevent the accident by driving safely according to the traffic signal in advance.

Nevertheless, the defendant neglected this and caused the fronter of the EM5 vehicle driven by the victim D who entered the intersection in the opposite direction due to the fault of the left-hand turn in contravention of the signal even though the vehicle signal was straight, and brought the fronter of the EM5 vehicle driven by the victim D, who entered the intersection, to the right side of the Defendant vehicle.

The Defendant, due to the foregoing accident, sustained injury to the victim D, such as salt and tensions, etc. of a drilling that requires approximately three weeks of medical treatment, and light clocks, tensions, etc. of the affected vehicle F, which require medical treatment for about three weeks, and escaped without stopping, and without taking measures, such as providing relief to the victim.
