Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 700,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

On November 22, 2012, the Defendant was sentenced by the Jeju District Court to imprisonment with prison labor for two years or 80 hours for a violation of the Act on the Protection of Children and Juveniles against Sexual Abuse, etc., and became a person subject to registration of personal information on June 28, 2013 as the said judgment became final and conclusive.

On March 2, 2016, at the Jeju Dong Police Station, the Defendant submitted personal information by stating the address as “in Jeju City C,” and the actual place of residence as “in Jeju City D,” respectively.

Where personal information is changed pursuant to Article 43 (1) of the Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment, etc. of Sexual Crimes, personal information, such as name, resident registration number, address and actual place of residence, occupation and workplace, physical information (key and weight), and the registration number of owned vehicle, shall be submitted to the head of a police agency having jurisdiction over his/her domicile within 20 days from the date of the change. However, the defendant failed to submit personal information by March 23, 2016, without justifiable grounds, even though he/she did not reside in Jeju City, which was recorded as the actual place of residence from March 2, 2016 after submitting his/her written submission of personal information and did not live in Jeju City, which was recorded as the actual place of residence.
