Punishment of the crime

The Defendant was sentenced to imprisonment with prison labor for a term of fraud on May 13, 2016 at the Busan District Court Branch Branch of the Incheon District Court on August 20, 2016. The judgment became final and conclusive on August 20, 2016.

【Criminal Facts】

The defendant, together with C and D, committed as if he invested KRW 20 billion in the apartment building project promoted by E (Representative F) in Dong-gu, Nam-gu, Chungcheongnam-gu, Seoul, in order to obtain money from the victim F.

Nevertheless, the Defendant, along with C and D, by deceiving the victim and receiving KRW 50 million from the victim, as a performance guarantee under a contract, and continued to prepare a fund investment contract to the effect that “C invests KRW 20 billion in E Co., Ltd.” at the above office around February 23, 2012, the Defendant received KRW 50 million from the victim as the balance of performance guarantee under a contract. Around March 13, 2012, the Defendant received KRW 3 million from the victim as the advance interest for the said investment deposit, and KRW 15 million from the 15th day of the same month, around the 16th day of the same month, around 30 million from the 19th day of the same month, around the 19th day of the same month, around 50 million from the 16th day of the same month, and around the 20th day of the same month, KRW 58 million from the Defendant’s national bank account (I).

Accordingly, the defendant, in collusion with C and D, acquired 158 million won from the victim.
