Defendant

A A shall be punished by a fine of one million won, and Defendant B shall be punished by a fine of two million won.

The above fines are imposed by the Defendants.

Punishment of the crime

1. With knowledge of the divulgence of personal information, no person shall be provided with any personal information for profit or for any other wrongful purpose;

A. Defendant A: (a) purchased NA from a person operating “C” computer store; and (b) purchased NAV account information (i) disclosed from a seller of personal information (i.e., F. F. F. H. H. and NA account information (i.e., H., name: H: name: H.); and (iii) disclosed NAV account information from a seller of personal information (i.e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., e., g.).

B. Defendant B: (a) purchased personal information leaked from another person and posted an advertisement advertisement for collecting office fixtures on the Internet NNA Kafe, with the aim of selling office fixtures, etc., Defendant B, who operated a small-sized virtual machine sales company; (b) accessed the Defendant’s office computer located in Guro-gu Seoul at around 15:53 on November 23, 2015; and (c) accessed the seller of personal information (i.e., e., e., e., e., e., e. g.) by accessing the Defendant’s office computer located in Guro-gu Seoul at KRW 703 on November 23, 2015; and (b) obtained NNB B’s account information (i.e., e., f., e., e., g., e., g.) from the seller of personal information (i., e., g., e., g., P: name: N: mobile number: Q).

As such, the Defendants knew of the divulgence of personal information of others and received personal information for profit.
