Defendants shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than two years and six months and suspension of qualifications for both years and six months.

Punishment of the crime

A. The Defendants’ career (1) Defendant A, from February 2010 to November 2015, visited China at least 29 times, i.e., the Defendant A’s long-term stay in China for at least one month at the same time, from around 2010 to around 2015.

(2) Defendant B performed inter-Korean exchange and cooperation activities such as collecting typists, etc. taken out from the Korean military unit or the USF unit, and using for rehabilitation or exporting them as the captain of the K Department. Around around 2008 and around 2009, Defendant B carried out two inter-Korean exchange and cooperation activities.

B. North Korea’s anti-state organization organization established the basic goal of the unification of the Korean Peninsula based on Kim Il-Japanese ideology (the so-called “self-government ideology”), such as “The purpose of the Joseon Labor Party is to build a socialist country in the North part of the Republic of Korea, conduct tasks of the revolution of the national anti-state democracy within the nationwide scope, and finally, realizes the people’s autonomy by converting the society which has already been aimed at into Kim Il-Seoul’s sovereignty into Kim Il-Seoul, and realizes the whole people’s autonomy.”
