Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 5,000,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

B is a person who is deemed a public official in the application of bribery, etc., while serving as the president of a cooperative, to take charge of overall personnel affairs including promotion and assignment of employees belonging to the said cooperative; and the Defendant is a person who was employed as the director of a cooperative from January 1, 2016 to August 1, 2018, while serving as the manager of the E cooperative from September 1, 2018.

1. Around July 2018, the Defendant offered a bribe to B through F, which was known to the close relationship to B, the president of the CF and was appointed to the managing director of the said CF, with the intent to offer money to B in order to obtain the price for the appointment and the benefit of personnel management in the future.

Accordingly, on September 2018, the Defendant posted bags containing KRW 20 million in cash to the office of the head of the association located in Namnam G in a lump sum in September 2018.

Accordingly, the Defendant offered a bribe of KRW 20 million in relation to the duties of executive officers of H association deemed public officials.

He/she may conduct educational support projects, economic projects, forest management projects, etc. to achieve such objectives, as a nonprofit legal entity with the objective of promoting sustainable forest management, enhancing the productivity of forests, and promoting the expansion of markets for forest products produced by its members and the facilitation of distribution of forest products, and may conduct educational support projects, economic projects, and forest management projects to achieve the objectives thereof, and the officers of the association shall not use funds to be used for the purposes necessary for the objectives of the business of the association for other purposes;

Nevertheless, around December 2018, the Defendant conspiredd with B to use the so-called waterway funds for forest projects as the purpose of receiving forest projects by raising the cash capital from the general business funds of the above union from the office of the Korea Association in Seoul.
