Defendant shall be punished by a fine of three million won.

If the defendant fails to pay the above fine, 50,000 won shall be one day.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendant was sentenced to six months of imprisonment for fraud at the Seoul Southern District Court on July 16, 2013, and the said judgment became final and conclusive on November 8, 2013.

1. On March 29, 2010, the Defendant claimed for insurance proceeds from the office of the Korea Life Insurance Co., Ltd. to the employee in charge, who received hospitalized treatment from C Hospital to March 29, 2010, for twenty-two (22) days from March 8, 2010 to March 29, 2010.

However, there was no need to receive hospital treatment or to receive hospital treatment, such as moving to and returning to her son and woman, visiting her house, etc.

As above, the Defendant deceptioned the victim interesting country life insurance company, and received KRW 1,100,000 as insurance money from the victim on April 1, 2010.

2. On June 9, 2010, the Defendant claimed insurance money from an employee in charge at the office of the Culture and Arts Co., Ltd., Ltd., for the period from May 22, 2010 to June 8, 2010, the Defendant received hospitalized treatment for 18 days at C Hospital as “catherter’s disease,” etc.

However, there was no need to receive hospital treatment or to receive hospital treatment, such as moving to and returning to her son and woman, visiting her house, etc.

As above, the Defendant deceptioned the victim interesting life insurance company, and received KRW 900,000 from the victim on June 10, 2010.

3. On September 28, 2010 and November 26, 2010, the Defendant claimed insurance money from an employee in charge of entertainment Korea Life Insurance Co., Ltd., the Defendant received hospitalized treatment at C Hospital from August 26, 2010 to September 16, 2010, for twenty-two (22) days, from August 26, 2010.

However, there was no need to receive hospital treatment or to receive hospital treatment, such as moving to and returning to her son and woman, visiting her house, etc.

As above, the Defendant deceivings the victim interesting life insurance company, thereby deceiving it.
